Terra Nova Productions' Artistic Director, Andrea Montgomery, travelled toMacau in 2007, 2008 and 2009 to undertake a three-year drama project with Macwac Theatre and young people from the SAR: Macau Young Creative Voices.  

The aim of the project was to create a well-managed, artistically excellent theatre production on the theme of Macau’s “Decolonisation”. The annual productions created were written, performed, produced, and marketed by the young participants led by Terra Nova and MacWac Theatre's Artistic Director Andrea Montgomery and Chad Leslie. Development plus two years of projects in Macau  culminated in a trip to Belem Brazil to showcase the work in 2010.
