Romeo! has just completed a successful tour of NI venues and is now available for one-off schools, corporate, and festival bookings.

Find out what made audiences want to stay after every show and hang out with Andrea and her team!

Audiences join our Artistic Director and experienced Shakespeare director Andrea Montgomery and her two outstanding actors as they share their perspective on Romeo & Juliet, experiencing some of the most romantic scenes in history, experiencing the director’s perspective on rehearsal. You’ll feel included in rehearsal, able to comment on the action, or just enjoy being part of the inner circle.  This is a relaxed, enjoyable, banter-filled evening. Perfect for theatre lovers, or for introducing someone to theatre for the first time.

‘All home stresses & worries are totally forgotten and I can immerse myself in Shakespeare.  More please!’ (audience member)

‘Loved it!  I am very intimidated by Shakespeare and this helped me immensely.  Would love to have more events like this.’ (audience member)

Montgomery’s work was chosen to be part of the global celebration of Shakepeare400 in 2016, when she directed the Belfast Tempest, one of the largest Shakespeare productions ever created on the island of Ireland. Montgomery was invited to Windsor in 2023 by His Majesty the King for the 400th Anniversary of the publication of Shakespeare’s first folio.

Andrea says: We make sure to touch on GCSE topics of dramatisation, themes, and characterisation too, so schools are finding the project useful too!

‘This was fabulous.  As an English teacher, I learnt many valuable things to encourage a love of Shakespeare in my own classroom.’ (audience member)

This event is extremely light touch, and can be performed in any large room. To find out more or to book the show, please email andrea@terranovaproductions.net
